Our mission is to raise funds to assist in the creation of a facility to house, display and educate on the history of golf and the career and works of Donald Ross. Working in conjunction with The Given Memorial Library to supplement the expansion of the Tufts Archives and the Children’s library of Moore County.
The Foundation Board consists of Richard Heysek, Alex Withers, Bob Carney, Howard Rockett and Stuart MacDonald. The Foundation works in unison with The Given Memorial Library and The Tufts Archives on this endeavor.

In June 2014, golf’s greatest tribute will be endowed to golf’s greatest architect. The Pinehurst No. 2 Donald Ross masterpiece, totally restored in every way but length, will for the first time in the centuries-long history of golf host two US Opens back-to-back.
This Foundation honors Donald Ross and his hundreds of courses – courses he imagined and built with his unique genius.
